Trinity Alps Mountain Wilderness Retreat
Along Coffee Creek

Step off the whirlwind merry–go–round and relax in a mountain paradise. Vacation in the last, truly pristine wilderness area in the US. If you love the outdoors, serenity, fishing, boating, and hiking, this retreat next to the river may be just right for you!

Located along the bank of Coffee Creek, in Northern California’s sparsely inhabited Trinity County, 30 air miles west of Mt. Shasta, this majestic retreat offers complete modern living convenience yet quiet, unspoiled wilderness beauty, and access to some great nearby hiking trails, fishing streams and lakes. (If you like details, we are located at 41°5’1”N and 122°42’48”W at an elevation of 2,660 feet.)

Coffee Creek

You will stay along Coffee Creek, a year–round river, which got its name from the gold rush days when miner’s sluice boxes muddied the waters—or perhaps just flash floods in the wilderness tributaries. The grounds are forested with redwoods, cedars, firs, pines, yews, and oak. A large lawn between the Coffee Creek Chalet and river offers plenty of room for croquette, games, or sunbathing. Our back yard is thousands of acres of forest land, and we are surrounded by the Trinity Alps that rise above 8000 feet.
